Sometime during the previous night, someone with ill-intent decide to break our glass door. A small hole was observed in the upper corner, but it was enough to shatter the entire piece of glass. Thankfully the tempered glass cracked but held together.
After discovering the damage, prior to opening the shop, the police were called and a report was filed. Later that day, the glass company removed the broken glass and the opening was boarded up. The new glass was installed the next day, but it may be some time before the door signage can be replaced.
Not to be shaken, we are still open for business. We’re still here, ready to rent bikes, fix a flat and sell you a U-lock or set of lights.
So come on by and say “Hello”, rent a bike and enjoy a day exploring San Diego.
Update: New glass was installed the following day – back to having maximum visibility. Soon we will have the door lettering replaced. Come for a visit and see for yourself.
